Mohamed Elneny signs one-year extension

Reports all over Twitter from reputable journalist claims that Mohamed Elneny has agreed an extension until 2023 with the option for an additional 12 months.
There is a rumour that he may have already signed the paperwork.

They report that the Egyptian international was spotted after the 5-1 win over Everton on Sunday with “a pen in his hand and a piece of paper in front of him posing for pictures with the club photographer” at the Emirates.

Elneny arrived at the Emirates from FC Basel in 2016.

During his time in North London he has helped Arsenal to FA Cup success and two Community Shields.

He has featured over 80 times for them in the Premier League, scoring once.
