Embarrassing Performance
We have bottled the chance to move back into the Premier League top four in third place, Lys Mousset’s 30th-minute goal gave the Blades a deserved victory (regardless what Emery says).
The defeat leave us fifth in the table after yet another disappointing away day. As consolation if any, we are still unbeaten at home, however, we have now lost two and drawn two of our last four games on the road.
With performances such as the one at Bramall Lane We could again struggle to finish in the Champions League qualification places so Emery have to fixed up soon.
I am not sure what needs to change. It cannot be the players, so maybe the manager time is up, perhaps a combination of different things. But something needs to change because this is absolutely not good enough.
Since yesterday the !Emery out!” wagon have grown rapidly however myself am not quite sure if I am there just yet. I certainly understood the argument, and I agree with many of them, but I also believe that a manager should be given time, especially when he has inherited the situation Emery inherited at the Emirates.
Let me see how will develop the coming matches & I’ll get back to you.
