The 8 Arsenal Invincibles players that still playing

There are 8 players from the actual Arsenal Invincibles side STILL playing professional football

The Gunners went 49 games unbeaten over a season and a half – a feat that may never be beaten

Exactly 8 of Arsenal’s Invincibles are still playing professional football.

And they still make up a pretty decent side if we add them to the team.

The Gunners used 33 players in their 49-game unbeaten run between 2004 and 2005.

Most big names, like David Seaman and Thierry Henry, hung up their boots years ago. But there is still a few of Invincibles out there plying their trade.

These legends are united by the memories of the Invincibles and remember the good old days when Arsenal used to finish higher than Spurs.

Here are the players and the full line up follows below – a classic 4-4-2 Arsene’s favourite. We have chosen 3 players from our current squad (Lacazette, Torreira & Sokratis) to complete a magnificent 11th.

Just what Arsene Wenger would have wanted.
